J Streitz and the Long Odds are a Minneapolis based Americana band with a second home in the north woods of Wisconsin. While most of the group calls Minneapolis home, former Mill City resident, singer/songwriter Jason Streitz currently resides in the north woods of Wisconsin where he lives with his family and operates a small pottery business, art gallery and live music listening room out of an old one-room schoolhouse. Rural living has afforded Streitz a new perspective.  Simultaneously missing city life while enjoying the calm of the woods, Streitz crafted this new batch of songs that has morphed, with full band contributions, into Light Again, the band’s second full length album.
